pada spring season finally gets going..

We started the season with a loss right off the bat, losing to the Roger Christalized EVO 26-23 in the first season of AA division action. They're a lot better team than they were last season, of course partly due to Roger joining them, but their entire team played stellar darts. We had some chances, but they got us in singles, which was the difference. Heard from Ian Griffiths that his team, Dragon Slayers, got trounced by the Backyard gang, and the current stats (up now) show a 42-7 result. Looks like the Brawlers are a stacked team. Ian said any one of their six players could easily beat anyone on his team....whew!

I'm getting ready for the Mexico trip - a long drive down Baja to Todos Santos. I'll miss the league action for a few weeks, but it'll be nice to get away from the darts for a little while, and let my right elbow catch a rest. I'm sure when I get back, I'll be more than ready to get back into the fray. In the meantime, Gregg Sloan will take over my duties at the pada website, keeping things going.

By the way...anybody have a nice '98 or later Subaru Forester, Honda CRV, Toyota RAV4 or Explorer (4 dr/4wd) they'd like to sell for under $8000? Gotta get something quick, and time's running out.
