Day 1

I'm sitting in Java Vivace coffe house enjoying a world class latte, cruising their free wifi setup - and it occurred to me I could post some progress on Trisha's and my Baja trip.... we're on the threshhold of a miracle. About an hour ago we finally emptied her apartment on Montgomery near PSU, and closed the doors on it forever. Nothing stands between us and the road ahead.. except for a couple of last minute errands Trisha needs to take care of. The plan is to hit the Oregon coast for one night at the folks' place, and then point the car south. Imagine southern Baja as a bullseye, and I'm taking a dead bead on it.
