Dr. Gabriel consults with Mariposa about the little female puppy (previous picture) which hasn't been interested in food for several days. He suspected a possible liver infection, and instructed Mariposa to change to a more powerful antibiotic. I can report now that this morning, this puppy, when offered cooked liver and rice, devoured all the liver, and seems to have turned the corner. Always a huge relief when a sick puppy on the brink appears to be on the way to recovery. They're all like little members of the refuge family.
