Some 'good-byes' are harder than others...

The funny thing is, as our time together in baja wound down, a sweet sadness settled in around us. I would be taking four pups back home two days later, and leaving Trisha and Nandi...and all the elements of this surreal time and place behind. Trisha faced much quieter days and weeks ahead, which was an exciting prospect for her writing, yet she already knew an aching loneliness. I think we surrendered to the truth...of how much we really loved each other, and how much we would miss one another in our lives. It all flew by so fast....
