I took a drive today to the small town of Siletz, pop. 1050, about 20 miles from the coast. Along the way I took a few photos which I'll post here today. This shot is just a few miles from the town where the road opens up onto a small farming valley. Most of the farms here are small cattle or horse operations, or grow strawberries and blueberries. Most of the land in this area is used for timber production, which can be noticed by the young forests on the hills in the background.
