Graham Mackintosh's new book

I think I'm going to get this book for a little Baja escape, 'Nearer My Dog To Thee, by Baja travel veteran Graham MacKintosh. If anyone has read it, I'd be interested in their take on it. I did notice the book in the only bookstore in Todos Santos when I was there in May. Actually, I'd like to check out the earlier book, 'Into A Desert Place,' because I had my own little personal adventure hiking the coastline south of Todos Santos, and am ready to do it again. Can't say I'd relish hiking for 3000 miles, but reading about it could be a nice diversion...
