Just another shot from El Refugio, dating back to May. Nandi (furthest) and Luna, her constant sidekick, just after a 2 hour run in the desert surrounding the ranch. Nandi had become quite the leader after just a short while at the ranch, usually being very selective about who she allowed to 'hang' with her. Luna, by her very persistance and submissive behaviors eventually won Nandi's approval, and began following her everywhere, including on long treks into the hostile, prickly desert. Nandi seemed a bit proud to have admirers, and she is definately a dog to admire.
