A sense of place...

A view of the Willamette River just below Willamette Falls, between Oregon City and West Linn, Oregon. A tug tows a log raft upriver toward the locks. In the background left is the former Smurfit Newsprint plant and on the right is the former Stinson Paper plant. This photograph was one of a series of photos done for a photographic study called "A Sense of Place" focusing on the Willamette Falls area of the river. Shot sometime in 1996.
