Solo time, Miss Gladys Knight...

It's been hot lately, hotter than it was along the Pacific coast of Baja in March/April. With that in mind, thought it was a good idea to take Gladys Knight for a solo excursion to the local beach at Taft. She was a bit nervous at first, but loosened up after a bit. The weather up here in Oregon has been stunning for a while now, and even with the natural 'air conditioning' along the coast it has gotten fairly warm just 5 miles inland. With nights dropping into the mid-upper 40s under crystal clear skies, the temp rises pretty steadily all day, peaking around 5 pm. Other than the steady wind on the beach, it was really balmy.
