Today's photos are three of several I took from the beach in Loreto, Baja California Sur as the sun rose over the Sea of Cortez on March 15, 2005. Once the sun broke over the distant mountains of the offshore island, the world lit up in a hurry. The sea had an eerie calm the two days we were there, making it otherworldly. Definately worth a repeat visit. Check out Villa de Loreto for a very relaxing place to stay right on the beach.. Trisha and I extended our stay there, and they welcomed Nandi with no problems, for those of you traveling with canine companions..
