On a clear day in early September, I took Tequila (left) and Minnie Mouse to a stretch of beach at Lincoln City. It took a little while for Tequila to feel comfortable in her new surroundings, but as she realized beaches are supposed to be fun places, she began kicking up her heels... 'Pie Legero' (pee-yeh le-herro) or 'light of foot' is definately the right native American name for her...
