For the less squeamish of you, here is a detail shot of the stitched laceration. It looks a hell of a lot better than when I first saw it, all bloody and exposed tendon and all... The good thing is, it didn't affect her walking or running. The tough part was keeping her from removing the bandages, otherwise she seemed to take the whole thing in stride... show me a human being under 10 who wouldn't think the world was coming to an end if they had been cut like that, and I'll be very amazed.
