Gladys Knight trying to make a good impression on Bella, our resident 7 yr. old German Shepherd. Gladys tends to greet certain dogs and many objects in the same manner - front end lowered, head down, tail wagging furiously, butt wiggling, little licks thrown in. What's truly hilarious is when she greets things like vacuum cleaners, knobs on kitchen cabinets, stickers pasted on her kennel/carrier, my desk chair, a corner of a table, a golf club... all with the same enthusiasm... Sadly, most of these things don't respond in kind, leaving her somewhat embarrassed, yet still willing to try again the next time.
