Time to post a few pictures from my digital archives... or rather, from some simple messing around with the Canon a95. This shot is of a small statue of the virgin Mary standing beneath a sizeable western red cedar. There are a few iconic figures to be found in various places around the 80 acres, mostly near the homestead, and she is just one of them. The tree she stands under has been designated the memorial tree for my grandmother on my mother's side, Conchita Gibler, fondly called Mama Conchita by just about everyone who knew her.
