
Well, it was finally time... March 8th, for Tessa Maria (on the right) to get "fixed." Despite her pleas that she wasn't "broken" I dutifully took her to visit Dr. Emerson at Lincoln City Animal Clinic for a bit of unfinished business and she sailed right through it without any complications... other than a major anesthesia hangover. She was fairly wobbly for a few hours, and I kept her off food until the next morning. It was interesting how the other dogs all seemed to treat her gently, and seemed a bit curious about her incision and stitches. Elizabeth (pictured at left) and Minnie seemed to take turns lying near her the first couple of days after her surgery.
