we're back...

Well... it's been awhile. Somehow, I just haven't been compelled to post anything on here for a few months - not exactly sure why. I have been taking pictures, and actually want to share a number of them in the days to come, but I just lost the drive to keep writing anything, and the more I neglected things the harder it became to know how to catch up with whatever 'story' I was telling... So, a fresh start, partly catching up on what's been missing from these months away from the blog, and the rest to find a fresh direction and purpose. I'll just have to see how it evolves, and what part of my life to make public. That's always the crux of the matter when going 'public.'

I've been testing the waters on the digital SLR medium for a couple of months, and the pictures I make with my new Nikon D50 will, naturally, give me an excuse to keep things coming. I'll probably comment a bit about the camera, and some of the things I like, and a few I'm not quite sure about, considering my background in 35mm. Should be interesting for some folks who have the digital SLR bug, I hope.
This picture is of Elizabeth (and 'puppy, puppy - Tessa Maria) taken a few weeks ago. Anyway, a lot happened, life happened, and I look forward to getting back to sharing as best I can. Cheers, and stay tuned...
